40 something days.

This morning I was going through my morning ritual.
Wake up, get Jordan out of his crib, bring him to T, make a bottle, leave them to fall back asleep. Then I washed my face and went to the office to get my facebook, blogs and then I logged onto Theknot.com.

The knot informed me that I'm down to 46 days before our wedding.
I'm not even close to being prepared.
I feel like I have nothing done at all.

Lucky for me, my mom decided to come to my house today. Jordan's been having fun with grandma and I've been sitting at the dining room table with my wedding binder, wedding magazines and my laptop. I still feel like nothing is accomplished.

At least my kid is entertained and my mom cleaned my kitchen and did all my dishes, HOLLA! (Thanks Mom).

I'm hoping to get more done.
Tonight we have a meeting with our photographers.

What I've accomplished today wedding-wise...
Booking my hair and makeup for the day of and my trials.
Making a bunch of lists, that look like jibberish.

I think I need to get an iced coffee and get back to work.
Maybe go grocery shopping to recharge myself.

Man, I'm getting old. I can't believe I said that. Who seriously wants to go grocery shopping.

How I did it.

I had two people to make/buy bracelets for... I had seen this tutorial and knew I had to make this bracelet.

Here's what it's supposed to look like.

Mine is a little bit chunkier..

Bloggity Bracelet Swap!

I took part in a bracelet swap held by Miss MichaBella.

My bracelets I made are going out tomorrow. Jordan's napping otherwise they'd go out tonight.

I got the most beautiful yellow rosette bracelet! I love it.

Buttttttttttttt.... baby J ate half of the cute tag. story of my life.
I think her name was Lindsey, I'm not positive. But if you sent me the bracelet, let me know who you are so I can properly thank you!

It's Been Awhile.

Things have gotten hectic yet again.

We're getting married in 50 DAYS! I can't believe it.
Our Cruise is in like 18 days.
And baby J will be a whole year old in 54 days!

We've been busy traveling between Long Island and Buffalo. We went for T's cousin Ally's wedding (It was gorgeous) then decided to come back the next weekend for the 4th. It was so much fun and I loved being there with our family, it was just exhausting and we're still trying to get things back in order.

Baby J is 10 and 1/2 months old. He's been walking about a month now and is officially running. I bought him his 1st (and 2nd) real pair of baby shoes.

Cute little baby Vans.

Cute Little Etnies Sandals.

I can't believe how fast time is flying.

Prayers.

I  haven't written here lately. But I'm asking for some prayers for little Kate. She was diagnosed with a rare type of bone marrow failure.

Sir Jordan Bennett.

I can't believe that my son is 6 1/2 months old. It's so hard to believe that he's here and has been here for such a long time. I know everyone says this, but honestly it feels like just yesterday that I went into labor (on labor day, how ironic) and a few short days later we were bringing him home for the first time to meet his furbrother and sister.

He's the light of our lives, as well as our families lives.

So far...

  • He has two teeth and has had them since he was around 5 1/2 months old (he's also getting more, which is making him a bear).
  • He's crawling, although mostly just army crawls because he knows it's faster for him. He's literally everywhere and is so fast. I went to the bathroom and he was in his play area, somehow he figured out how to push the gate over and I found him in the hallway by the bathroom.
  • He's blabbering up a storm. He's always making some kind of noise.
  • He LOVES peekaboo. It's his new favorite thing to do. It could keep him occupied for hours.
  • He also loves jumping.
  • He's getting better at entertaining himself (no I don't leave him alone for hours by himself).

Now we just need to get the little bugger on a schedule that he can stick to. For the most part he's in bed by 8. But he's up at least 2 or 3 times at night (which is hard on daddy, as he has night duty). I really miss having space in the bed. 90% of the time he won't go back down in his crib (although he falls asleep in there just fine). Between Jordan, T, and Wickett (our very large fatty kitty cat) I get a tiny little 3 foot by 1 foot area on the bed, that usually doesn't include any blankets.

He's just so advanced and growing up so fast. I wish there was just something that could slow down time because I'm afraid to blink and next thing I'll know he'll be a year old.

Speaking of that. 4 days before our little man's 1st birthday... We'll be getting married! and I'll no longer be Jessie J, but Jessie N. It's such a weird feeling. I want time to hurry and speed up so that I can finally be married to my best friend and love of my life, but I want it to slow down so my son doesn't grow up.

Next post I'll put some pictures to the names. And maybeeeee let you guys in on some wedding stuff. I should really get on planning this wedding...

An Introduction

I'm Jessie.
I'm 23 (almost 24) years young.
I'm engaged to a wonderful guy. We'll call him T. We've been together a little over 2 years.
We have an amazing little boy name Jordan Bennett. He's currently a day shy of 6 months old.
We have 2 kitties, Danger and Wickett who are like our other children.
We own our first home in Buffalo New York.

I'm a stay at home mom as my #1 job. But I'm also the office manager for my fiance's company. I'm very lucky that I can work from home most days and only have to go into the office once or twice a week.

I started this to mainly blog about my son and his accomplishments and the way that he is growing. (which is like a weed lately). I also want to start getting more into photography and having a place to put my work!

i'm trying to get the hang of this. So be on the lookout for lots more improvements!
